
Cooking masterclasses: Learn from the best at this year鈥檚 festival
The Masterclass Theatre tutorials invite food-lovers to expand their repertoires and learn about global speciality dishes in the company of expert chefs.
Unlock the secrets of a selection of exquisite international cuisines at the Masterclass Theatres, returning on the 20th and 21st of July for the National Geographic Traveller (UK) Food Festival. Visitors can learn how to prepare regional delicacies from guest chefs, featuring countries such as Ecuador, Indonesia, Malaysia, Georgia, Barbados and more.
These in-depth tutorials will invite food-lovers to uncover cuisine-defining techniques and ingredients from some of the world鈥檚 most fascinating culinary destinations. Offering visitors the chance to expand their repertoire and even sample some of the finished dishes, the likes of Petty Pandean Elliot and Pino Edwards will be gracing the Cinnamon and Saffron stages throughout the weekend.
Saturday masterclasses:
- Guram Baghdoshvili is set to offer up a taste of his native聽骋别辞谤驳颈补听with a tutorial on making beef聽办丑颈苍办补濒颈听dumplings 补苍诲听preparing聽meskhetian khachapuri聽cheese bread.聽聽聽
- Chef and author Petty Pandean-Elliott will be crafting聽滨苍诲辞苍别蝉颈补苍听产谤补颈蝉别诲听迟别尘辫别丑听with spices and sweet soya, served with a mixed salad and sambal tahini.聽聽聽
